David Nobay, someone I have never met but would very much like to, was behind the open letter in The Australian on the 13th that made clear the state creative advertising was in and also of its biggest enemy; Anonymous.

Anonymous. He’s such a cunt. He’s got the brains of a YouTube commenter mixed with the spite of a failed Myspace model. Pure unadulterated hate. And it’s not even the petty 4chan Anonymous hate; at least that hate has a purpose.

Now I got into this industry with the outlook that it would be, more or less, filled with fun and creative people. A little naive, but I think it’s a fair assumption to have. In all the youngbloods meet and greets I’ve gone to, I’ve only entered into conversation with, as I suspected, fun and creative people. So where does this bitter binary bastard of banal banter come from?

Fucks me, I returned to edit this a few days later and I have no idea where I was going with it. The internet is full of cunts; give a man anonymity and a tool to express themselves to the masses and, well, all your going to get is a pot full of toss.
